Everything in life is fun—until it isn't. Some fun can be risky, but the most dangerous things in life? Well, those are never fun. Life isn’t just about having fun; it’s a mix of everything. The best we can do is accept it.

I’m someone who loves to explore. I didn’t always get many chances, so I made my own ways to explore. In our society, a lot of people are terrified of tiny creatures—spiders, cockroaches, lizards, and all those little creepy crawlies. But why? No clue. Fear is natural, I guess. But not for me. I actually enjoy observing these creatures, watching how they move, communicate, and function. Yeah, I know—it sounds weird.

I have this little dubba (a small box container) where I collect these creatures—one species at a time, never more than five. I keep them for a couple of days, just watching them. At first, they desperately try to escape, but after a while, they seem to accept their new reality and just chill. It’s oddly fascinating.

But then, curiosity hits hard. Sometimes, I wonder—what would happen if a spider bit me? What would the pain feel like? I mean, I know some spider bites can be fatal, so I’ve never actually tried it. But the thought alone is exciting.

Recently, I collected five Katturumbu (Greater Striated Bispinous Ants—basically, carpenter ants). Each one was from a different place, but when I put them together, they seemed like long-lost friends. Or maybe they were just calling each other “bro” in their secret ant language. Who knows?

After two days, it was time to let them go. But then, curiosity hit differently. What would happen if all five bit me at the same time? Twice I thought about it. Then I decided to go for it.

So, before releasing them, I casually placed my finger inside the dubba. And oh boy, what a moment! They rushed in like they had just been served their favorite meal. The pain hit instantly. At first, it stung like hell, but after a few seconds, it transformed into an oddly satisfying sensation—like a weird adrenaline rush. I actually enjoyed it.

And then, for absolutely no reason—just for fun—I put the ants on a piece of paper and set it on fire. Yep. Just like that, they were gone. No more thoughts, no more bites, no more anything.

After all this, my hand wasn’t in great shape. Couldn't move my finger properly for a while. But a few hours later, everything was back to normal.

Moral of the story? Don’t get addicted to anything, and don’t do things with a bad mindset—because one day, it will come back to bite you. Maybe not in a Katturumbu way, but still.
